Went for our 24 week scan last week and had a worrying moment when they could locate the blood flow through the heart valves. Had a nerve wracking hour's wait before going back for a second scan by a consultant. Even though we knew there was probably nothing to worry about, we did what every parent does and worried anyway. Thankfully the found what they were looking for and everything's fine. It gave us a taste of the worries that lie ahead. We're definitely feeling more like parents now!
